Bloom Where You Are Planted is a mixed media project that embraces storytelling, photography and assorted mixed media to explore uniqueness, resilience and excellence in everyday life. ‘Bloom where you are planted’ depending on usage means to be: fruitful and blossom in all ways you were created to be; make the best of what life throws at you; do what’s right, even when it’s hard. The work juxtaposes strength and fragility, beauty and purpose, vulnerability and power through the use of metal and paper.
